Pastel Purple tank. Black velor hooded zip-sweatshirt. Black AE jeans.
Leather Jacket. Ring Candy. Tall Leather boots. (not shown)
I kept my hair simple with my everyday beachy waves. And kept the makeup even more simple looking with only liner on the top, brown eyeliner on the bottom outer corner, and a white pencil on the bottom inner corners. My lipstick is the semi-new L'Oreal Color Riche Balm in Caring Coral.
I think this look gives that tougher edge, but it could just be the leather jacket paired with the hoodie & leather boots haha.
What kind of outfits do you wear in gloomy weather? How do you beat a case of the Mondays?

Look 1: Tuesday
A simple flower clip to hold my side braid. Instantly I look ready to take on the sunlight of the beautiful spring day it was on Tuesday. I have layers so not all of my hair stays in the braid, but it's okay. I think for this look, the messier the better, but to polish it off a nice flower clip definitely did the job. Happy spring!
Look 2: Thursday
These shoes really pulled my super basic outfit together with that pop of style. My outfit was a plain loose gray tank, a blazer, jeans and a woven belt & of course some neck candy. Overall boring huh? I thought so too, but I was in a rush. So I broke these babies out and voila! My outfit was complete. Nothing like a stylish shoe to totally change the outfit right?
I think accessories are a MUST have, especially if you want to look like you put effort into your look, but really didn't. They can really tie an outfit together in a whole new way.
Remember: A little goes a long way!
What are your go-to accessories?

essie nail lacquer in "blanc" (008) & "mint candy apple" (702)
Panda crop top. AE Jeans. Brown woven belt.
Black loose blazer. Ballet flats. &Finger candy.
For those who don't know, I adore pandas. I just think they're so cute and so it really was a matter of time until I bought a panda shirt (it's my only one too). This particular shirt actually donates to the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF), so you can be fashionable and help out a good cause. As for me, this is my only animal tee, however, they have been growing on me and I'm ready to purchase a couple more perhaps.
What do you think of animal tees? Love or hate them?

This was my look for today. See how fresh it looks?
All I used was an eyelash curler, mascara, and lip stain. For the flawless face: my usual concealer, mineral powder, and of course moisturizer! And that's it! Minimal makeup is actually a trend seen on the west coast of the US, particularly California, but not so much on the east coast here in NY. I think it's because in NY we like to be bold and out there, but I guess that's to be expected as one of the fashion capitols in the world. However, I like to take a break from the eyeliner and lipstick once in a while. Less makeup also makes you look younger & more innocent, because if you think about it, you didn't wear makeup as a kid. This is just so fresh and doesn't look so overpowering. Even better, a look like this takes no more than 5 minutes!
Do you like the minimal look? Or do you like to be bold and out there?

The shirt is Killbrand's "Class Cred" oversized tee. American Eagle jeans.
Old navy cardigan in Black. Vera Wang tall boots (forgot the name.)
This is very casual for me because I usually don't wear t-shirts, but with this I love the creative distortion to the classic Chanel brand symbol. Printed tees are a good way to branch out from the typical plain t-shirt trend. I jazzed up the outfit with statement rings, some big & some small, which are my "go-tos" for adding some accents. I topped off the look with my leather jacket.
What do you wear on casual days? Do you have a "go-to" or a favorite piece of fashion?
